Heartlands Forum to support research

The Devon Heartlands Community Forum and how it is working to support community involvement in loacl issues is to be part of some ongoing research that we will be undertaking with some of our partners from the Carnegie UK Trust. The invitation to participate came from our partners at the internationally famous Tipperary Institute in the Republic of Ireland who recognised the importance of the work and contribution of the people of Okehampton and its surrounding Towns and Parishes who have made the Heartlands Forum such a success. We plan to meet in early September and will report our experiences at the Forums own special showcase event to be held at the Ockment Centre in Okehampton on the 15th October. Well done to all those who support the Heatrtlands forum.
