Devon Heartlands Community Development Trust in conjunction with the Devon Association for Renewable Energy (DARE) & the North Tawton Environmental Trust (NTET) has been undertaking a 2-month Energy Assessment Study in North Tawton. This study funded by the Energy Saving Trust included conducting energy audits on 9 Community Buildings & 12 homes of various ages, sizes & construction. The results of this intense study will be available together with further opportunities to get advice on

(a)   Energy Efficiency measures from Cosy Devon & DARE.

(b)   Reducing your water bills & consumption from South West Water, &

(c)   Growing your own vegetables from NTET

Also attending from 12 noon is       from Renewable Energy Systems Ltd, who is the company behind the Den Brook Windfarm Programme. They will provide the latest news on their project plans.

Devon Heartlands would like to thank everyone who has participate in & engaged with this exciting project, especially those whose properties were audited & the various organisations that supported the Community Events.  The Study Report will be issued in April, with a short summary distributed to all households in North Tawton. In addition the report will be available late April on-line from www.devonheartlands.co.uk  or www.devondare.org
